Ever since DJ Karim Elias (previously known as DJ Hysteria) was a teenager, he knew that music is his passion in life. He started his career as a teenager spinning turntables in many nightclubs in Beirut, Jounyeh and Kaslik in Lebanon and working in many radio stations around town. After 25 years in the music industry, Karim has made a name to himself by being ahead of the game in not only his choice of music, but with the way he plays it as well. With long flowing mixes that seamlessly blend one track into next, Karim has the ability to take control of any dance floor whether in Montreal, Laval, Toronto, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Buffalo, Abu Dhabi, Dubai or Beirut. Karim has built a reputation for his ability to read, entertain and energize any crowd.  His passion for innovation made him one of the first few video jockeys who is capable of mixing LIVE all types and genres of music into masterpieces of flawless video and audio mixes.

His crème a la crème project, his baby, Hysteria Resto-Lounge marked a new geographical destination to all night goers in Montreal and Laval in Canada. The first of its kind in live entertainment, Hysteria was a destination for clubbers who seek a night filled with delicious International cuisine and dancing till dawn. Live video-audio mixing performed on wide screen TVs with classy and sexy décor, gained Hysteria a reputation for its high class vibe, incredible service, and celebrity clientele.

Karim also owns a private entertainment and event planning company in Montreal with a branch in Abu Dhabi “Plan It Loud” with a mission to create memorable events that would dazzle, delight, and "wow" in every possible way.

“Beirut Beats” is Karim’s latest project in United Arab Emirates. Owner and creator of this theme night, Karim moves the Night-out Beirut style to the country. He plays Live Video-Audio mixes of the latest International trends and genres in the music industry where “East meets West”; allowing the clubbers to forget everything they have known or experienced in the clubbing scene. “Beirut Beats” offers a ground breaking, modern, and inventive Beirut night life experience that is going to be difficult for anyone to top it off.
