Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi Classics presents its seventh edition, offering a unique and immersive experience allowing everyone to explore and enjoy the magic and diversity of the classical music universe.

Through the Abu Dhabi Classics programme, TCA Abu Dhabi focuses on bringing some of the leading contemporary artists in the field of Arabic and Western classical music to the emirate. The season will feature some of the most promising talents in Classical music, aiming to create a true artistic dynamic for both the artists and the public at venues across the Emirate.

This year’s Abu Dhabi Classics programme begins on October 12th with a Gala Concert in the stunning setting of Al Jahili Fort in Al Ain for an evening of Grieg, Wagner and Beethoven.

The following night, the orchestra, which was established in 1806, will perform pieces from Rossini, Rachmaninoff and Brahms in Abu Dhabi. Both nights will feature American piano maestro Nicholas Angelich.

Before the performance on Friday 13th, a pre-concert discussion will be led by Dr Ronald Perlwitz, head of TCA Abu Dhabi Music Programme about Brahms 1st Symphony, starting at 7:15pm. The pre-talk will be free to all ticket holders.
