Born and raised in Bucharest Romania, living in Abu Dhabi, UAE since 2006, CristiAna a.k.a Asphyxia has been influenced in her style by renowned djs and producers such as Sasha, John Digweed, Timo Maas, Maetric, Moshic, Henry Saiz and many others.

Her mixes are evolving from lounge/deep house to tech house and techno. Been mixing throughout UEA at some well known clubs, yacht parties and music festivals, adding a touch of personal style to the vibe of the venue.

CristiAna had 2 web-radio shows residencies: “Essence of Sound” (Poland) and “Cuebase” (Germany) 2011-2013. 2011-2014 performed at the massive music festival “Creamfields Abu Dhabi”on the same stage with some of the world's finest Djs : Marco Carola, Ferry Corsten, Above and Beyond, Sasha etc.
