Life begins at 30, so they say. But for Tim Kay dance music has already been a huge part of his life for over half of his existence.

Inspired by the underground arches of Vauxhall, Camden & Brixton in the late 90's Tim's love for house music was burning from inside and after 2 years of traipsing around covent garden record shops and what felt like an eternity of self taught Vinyl DJ'ing Tim's first mix tapes were finally ready. Tim exploded onto the scene with a dj competition win to play at Brixton Academy in the turn of 2000. A residency at one of Londons biggest clubs - Camden Palace followed and the rest is history.

The next 8 years saw Tim travel across the UK/Ibiza and a 2 year stint working at the huge Massive Records. Tim managed the big room house department and picked tracks for many of the UK Radio 1 DJs and Godsktichen/Gatecrasher Residents.

In 2008 Tim decided to take his sound to Dubai where the club scene was still in its infancy. 4 years after being in Dubai and Tim has had residencies at the biggest clubs to hit the market including Giorgio Armani's Armani Prive, Atlantis The Palm's Sanctuary/N'dulge Atlantis, Nobu, Plastik Beach Club, Xl Beach Club, Allegra, Amika and The 400 Nightclub and Movida.

Tim's been a part of club tour nights in Dubai with brands such as Ministry Of Sound, Nikki Beach, Pacha, Pukka Up, Circo Loco and Stereo Sushi. Tim Kay's warmed up for the biggest DJ's in the world - Axwell (Swedish House Mafia), Afrojack, and Avicii (Good Feeling) - Thats a fine 3 of the DJ Mag top 10 DJs in the world. He's also played with many other Worldwide Accredited performers - DJ Antoine (Welcome to St Tropez), Alex Gaudino, Sandy Rivera, David Morales, Danny Rampling, Todd Terry, Ron Carrol, Richard Grey, Edward Maya and Judge Jules to name but a few.

2012 saw Tim Kay selected to play at Atelier Dance Events - the biggest festivals in the Middle East. Djing to crowds up to 18,000 capacity. With Artists such as 50 Cent, Nelly, Ciara, Skylar Grey, Chris Brown, Eva Simmons, Faithless, Gorillaz, and Snoop Dogg + many more.

Tim has fine tuned his sound to work across the board of Dubai which has both an underground and educated understanding, as well as maintaining accessible.

Tim is producing under the alias Speaker Tweaker and has just had a string of releases signed to one of the biggest dance music labels in the world from the creator Tiesto himself - Black Hole Recordings.

As Tim continues to pump out high quality productions the future only looks bright for this young 30 year old.
